Helpful Hints and Other Good Ideas

Establish some form of tracking each child's work. We use a simple system ... a card with the student's name. We enter a date, a station name/level/story and score for each station worked.

Color code the stations for the type of work then ask the students to complete one of each color before repeating. Example: All true and false stations are coded RED. All multiple choice stations are coded GREEN. All Question/Answer stations are coded BLUE.  A student should complete one station in each color category before repeating any color.
