THE SEVEN RULES OF TEACHING
The information on this page was adapted from an excellent teacher training book entitled, "Teach with Success" from Standard Publishing.

If the students fails to learn, we have failed to teach.

1.       Know what is to be taught.
2.       Gain and keep the students’ attention on the lesson.
3.       Use words, terms, illustrations and methods understood in the same way by the          teacher and the students. (1 Cor. 14:9)
4.       Lead the student from the known to the unknown.
5.       Stimulate the student’s own mind to action.
6.       Require the students to reproduce in thought the lessons they are learning.
7.       Repeat, Review, Reproduce the Lesson.
